Claremore Overpass Construction Project
If you live in or near Claremore, work in the area, or just like to keep up with construction projects then you have undoubtedly heard about the new overpass development currently underway. This new highway (or shortcut depending on your perspective or where you live) will stretch from I-44 Will Rogers Turnpike and E 510 Road to Route 66 just north of King Road then continuing west past Destiny Life Church and S 4130 Road. The highway will then wind around and up north ultimately connecting with the existing Highway 20 near NW Franklin Road, Keetonville Road, and the Owasso cut-through. There will be an east-bound and west-bound exit from this new road. According to online sources, this entire project is expected to wrap up sometime time early 2025.
Ever since construction began on this ambitious project we have regularly captured aerial drone photos and videos in order to showcase the ongoing progress from one end to the other. Admittedly, the majority of our captured content has focused on the Route 66 area, however, our latest and recent update video shows the construction progress going on near Keetonville Road and the Owasso cut-through area.
Here are a few aerial drone photos that we captured that show some helpful location captions. If you would like to see our latest updated drone video that pairs with these photos then check out our video below. We also have a playlist on YouTube where you can see all of the videos that we have filmed on the overpass development.
